"Miners Gala" Durham City

Welcome to the Hebburn Community Website!

Hi,

My name's Paul Dack, Jarra lad born and breed and in September 2000 I moved to South Wales (married a Welsh girl). In June 2009, I decided to launch JarrowLife as a way of keeping in touch with what's happening in and around Jarrow.

The site is proving to be very popular and in response to suggestions from friends, I've launched this sister site for Hebburn.

Anyone can access the site but to create a thread\post or upload a photo, you'll need to register as a user (requires valid email address). You'll then receive an email containing a confirmation link that you'll need to click to activate your account.

I hope you find this site useful and informative and more importantly, that it goes some way into helping build a real community spirit in the Hebburn area.

Miners Gala in Durham City, did any visitors or members from the Hebburn Forum, manage to get over to to take part in the 'Parade'.
It would be great if we could show some photos on the forum.

Maybe you and your family, have taken part in the event over the years......and would like to share a few memories or stories. cheers Cait
